The morning of July 12, I went to Mahidol University, Salaya campus to give a talk at Contemplative Education Forum. The talk went well and no one asked questions related to Tibetan politics. Instead, many people shared their views on how to bridge ancient wisdom from the Tibetan model to modern society. We talked about buttered tea that need diluting if it comes to Thai society. Other interesting questions included why Tibetan Buddhism became a new phenomenon of the world and whether the saying that humanity of this century needed the kind of Tibetan spirituality to survive, was true.
